Smaller Custom Timber Frame Hybrid Home

This custom home was built in 2019 and sold in 2020. The builders personal home. This house is a Mountain Contemporary, with a Timber Frame flare. The house was a home that consisted of approximately 1650 square feet, 600 square feet of covered porch, and a two car garage. Not big on any standard but comfortable. The house was constructed to be very energy efficient by using high efficient heating system, southern exposure to give you passive solar throughout the cold winter months , energy efficient windows and doors, all the wood on the interior was reclaimed, and other siding products were from Bridger Steel out of Bridger Montana, the flooring was reclaimed hickory that was hand plowed, beetle kill tongue and groove ceilings, with windows and doors being trimmed out in old barn wood. The builder has always taken the extra step for detail, energy efficiency, quality, and using local materials.
